Mica is a natural mineral dust that is used as color additives in cosmetics, such as foundation, blush, eyeshadow and lipstick. It is highly pigmented with reflective properties, which gives deep color and a shimmery effect. It is insoluble in water and suspends best in thick bases. It can be blended with other pigments.
